The HCM City Statistics Bureau has reported that this year the city has attracted 1.29 billion USD in foreign direct investment (FDI).
As reported, there have been 401 FDI projects licensed, worth 541 million USD, up 21 percent year-on-year.
Besides, 118 ongoing projects registered to increase their investment capital for an additional 747 million USD, increasing 73 percent in comparison with the same period last year.
Singapore made up the largest percentage of investment capital with 282 million USD (accounting for 52 percent of all FDI capital), followed by Japan and France ./.VNA
