HCM City, Cambodia boost cooperation


Ho Chi Minh City attaches importance to stronger cooperation withCambodia and will do its utmost to promote bilateral ties in the comingtime, especially in the field of human resources training.

This statement was made by Nguyen Thi Hong, Deputy Chairwoman of themunicipal People’s Committee at a reception for a delegation from theCambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, led by Minister PhoeurngSackona, in HCM City on April 27.

She said the city heldnumerous exchange visits to further cooperation between the twocountries in all fields, ranging from politics to economics, culture,education and health care.

For her part, Minister PhoeurngSackona applauded Vietnam’s achievements in the last 40 years andthanked HCM City for its assistance over the past time.

Shealso expressed her hope that Vietnam and HCM City in particular willcontinue providing support for Cambodia in human resources training.-VNA
