The Ho Chi Minh City police have arrested two members of a drug trading racket while seizing 4.2 kilogrammes of crystal methamphetamine, 292 ecstasy pills, two guns and 1 billion VND (44,000 USD).

– The Ho Chi Minh City police have arrested twomembers of a drug trading racket while seizing 4.2 kilogrammes of crystalmethamphetamine, 292 ecstasy pills, two guns and 1 billion VND (44,000 USD).

Diep Tuan Anh, born in 1976, was arrested when transporting 0.5 kilogramme ofcrystal methamphetamine on April 21. He told the police that he bought the drugfrom Tran Van Nam.

SearchingNam’s house in Binh Tan district, the police seized 3.7 kilogrammes of crystalmethamphetamine and 292 ecstasy tablets.

AtAnh’s house in district 8, the police also found two guns and a small amount ofdrug.

Initial investigation showed Nam purchased the drugs in China and transportedby coach to Ho Chi Minh City. Meanwhile, Tuan Anh, a drug distributor, used tobuy drugs from Nam then sell to other members in the ring.
