HCM City (VNA)  – The first Electronics – InformationCommunications Technology Fair & Exhibition 2017 will be organised in HCMCity next week.

The May 11-12 exhibition is expected to have 50 booths displaying new software, electronic,telecommunications and chipset products that can be used to set up e-governanceand make the southern hub a smart city.

It will also feature conference on new products and technologies, signing ofagreements for cooperation and technology transactions and a gala dinner forexecutives in the sector.

The city Department of Information and Communications will organise the eventalong with others like the HCM City Trade and Investment Promotion Centre, theHCM City Computers Association, the Vietnam Information Safety Association, theHCM City Chipset Association, Quang Trung Software Park, and the HCM CityNational University’s Software Park.-VNA

Network of overseas Vietnamese nuclear energy experts makes debut

The network currently brings together nearly 100 scientists and experts working at key institutions in this sector such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), EDF, Framatome, ANDRA, CEA, and many other leading organisations. They have directly participated in the design and construction of numerous EPR nuclear power plants, including Olkiluoto 3 (Finland), Flamanville 3 (France), and Taishan 1&2 (China).

NA adopts resolution in support of private sector

According to the resolution, each enterprise, household business, or individual business must not be inspected more than once a year, except in cases where clear signs of violations are found.
