HCM City to sell all State-owned houses

The Ho Chi Minh City municipal People's Committee said it has completed the sale of State-owned houses in the city to meet the urgent demands of families and beneficiaries of social policies.
The Ho Chi Minh City municipal People's Committee said it has completed the sale of State-owned houses in the city to meet the urgent demands of families and beneficiaries of social policies.

Statistics from the city showed that it had sold 93,600 State-owned houses till date, accounting for 98 percent of the total.

In 2010, the city sold 92,500 similar houses with a total area of 5.1 million square metres for 5.86 trillion VND, or 279 million USD. The money has been reinvested in housing projects.

The city has 102,000 State-owned houses./.
