HCM City welcomes over 4 mln int’l visitors in nine months

In the first nine months of 2024, Ho Chi Minh City saw over 4 million international visitors, a 12% increase year on year.

According to the city's Department of Tourism, total tourism revenue during this period reached over 140,000 billion VND (nearly 6 billion USD), up 12%, achieving 74% of the year's target.

The city's tourism sector is actively enhancing cultural, historical, waterway, medical, and MICE tourism, while improving culinary services to boost its appeal.

Notable events like the Ao Dai Festival, Tourism Festival, and River Festival have drawn both domestic and international tourists, further promoting the city's tourism growth.
