This year’s festival featured more than 100 pavilions introducing special dishes from all regions of Vietnam.
The festival’s main activities were culinary shows, on-stage cooking lessons, musical performances, a ceremony honouring Vietnamese chefs, mapping of cuisine, and honouring talented female chefs.
The organising committee also launched a map of Vietnamese cuisine in the second phase of a programme, with 126 dishes from the country’s 63 cities and provinces, breaking the record of 63 dishes in the first phase.
With the online map of Vietnamese cuisine, users can “enjoy” specialties from each locality, thereby understanding and appreciating the value of the diversity and richness of Vietnamese cuisine./.
