On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), on the morning of September 1, 2025, a delegation of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the State President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, along with ministries, sectors and Hanoi authorities, laid wreaths and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.

On the morning of August 28, New Zealand House Speaker Gerry Brownlee and a high-ranking delegation laid a wreath and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum. OV family presents Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum with valuable artefacts, documents

Cong’s family presented two sets of original artefacts to the mausoleum - a set of chairs and a tea set used to welcome President Ho Chi Minh during the leader’s visit to the family on the Lunar New Year's Eve in 1963, and two rare photographs capturing the moment the President visited their home.

Ordinance on management, protection of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex announced

The ordinance designates the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex as a national landmark of exceptional political, historical, cultural, defence and security significance, and encompasses the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ba Dinh Square, the Memorial to Heroic Martyrs, the K9 historical site and supporting facilities, essential for the long-term preservation and absolute security of President Ho Chi Minh’s remains.
