Ao Dai connects Hanoi Tourism with its Heritage

Over 100 people wearing traditional ao dai rode bicycles in a program to celebrate National Day, September 2.

The Ao Dai connecting Hanoi Tourism and Heritage Program, the first of its kind, was co-hosted by Hanoi municipal Department of Tourism, Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, and Vietnam Communal House Club.

Participants departed in the early morning and cycled through signature streets and sites in Hanoi, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Dong Xuan Market and Hoan Kiem Lake.  

The program aims to promote Hanoi’s tourist attractions. It is expected to become an annual event on the occasion of National Day to honor and uphold traditional values while contributing to sustainable tourism development./.
