Hoi An ancient town in the central province of Quang Nam has been given the 11th place among the 19 cheapest holiday destinations in the world in 2019 in the annual Holiday Money report compiled by Post Office Travel Money.

Hanoi (VNA) – Hoi An ancient town in the centralprovince of Quang Nam has been given the 11th place among the 19 cheapestholiday destinations in the world in 2019 in the annual Holiday Money reportcompiled by Post Office Travel Money.

In this report, the Worldwide Holiday CostsBarometer compares the costs of eight tourist staple items – a meal for two, acup of coffee, a bottle of beer, a Coca-Cola, a glass of wine, a bottle ofwater, suncream, and insect repellant – across 42 resorts and cities around theworld.

Accordingly, Hoi An costs tourists only 86.87USD for a holiday, including 2.35 USD for a cup of filter coffee, 3.3 USD for abottle of local beer, 2.35 USD for a bottle or can of Coca-Cola/Pepsi, and 6.6USD for a glass of wine (175ml) at a café or bar.

In this Vietnamese destination, visitors onlyhave to spend 0.71 USD on a 1.5l bottle of mineral water, 5.65 USD on suncream,and 2.35 USD on insect repellent at a supermarket.

A three-course evening meal for two, including abottle of house wine, costs them just 63.56 USD here.
