Honda Logicom to build new warehouse in Hai Phong

Honda Logicom Vietnam Company Ltd, a subsidiary of Honda Logicom Company Ltd (Aichi, Japan) will start building a new general logistics warehouse as well as bonded warehouse in June 2022 in DEEP C Industrial Zones in the northern port city of Hai Phong.

Hai Phong (VNS/VNA) - Honda Logicom Vietnam Company Ltd, asubsidiary of Honda Logicom Company Ltd (Aichi, Japan), will start building anew general logistics warehouse as well as bonded warehouse in June 2022 inDEEP C Industrial Zones in the northern port city of Hai Phong.

With a total area of 5,300sq.m, the new warehouse is twice the size of theirthree existing warehouses in Vietnam, making it Honda Logicom’s largest projectnationwide. By securing a strategic location in DEEP C Industrial Zones,adjacent to Hai Phong Port, the largest port system in the north, and LachHuyen deep seaport, one of its kind in the region, Honda Logicom Vietnam enjoyslogistics cost benefits while enabling leading time reduction.

With its parent company in Japan, Honda Logicom Company Ltd, has beenaccumulating deep knowledge on auto parts logistics for major Japanese carmanufacturers since their foundation in 1963. Meeting strict requirements forthe provision of over 300,000 auto parts along with car production planning hasgrown Honda Logicom into one of the most unique logistics solution providers inthe industry.

DEEP C Industrial Zones is one of the largest industrial parks in the northernregion of Vietnam, currently operating a total of 3,400 hectares of industrialland in both Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh province. Vingroup launches largest-ever urban development project in Dien Bien

Under the master plan, the project will span more than 228.5ha and accommodate around 12,000 residents. Dien Bien Phu cultural-historical tourism, cable car complex project launched

The project aims to effectively tap the area’s natural landscapes, geographical advantages and distinctive historical value, while creating a high-quality tourism product with strong competitiveness. It is also intended to preserve, honour and promote the value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory special national historical relic site.
