Da Nang (VNA) - The 6th Hong Bang open international Taekwondo championship - Hong Tri Viet Cup 2024 kicked off in the central city of Da Nang on July 6 evening.
Hosted by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Hong Bang Taekwondo club in the city, the 3-day event attracts the participation of over 600 athletes and coaches representing 50 martial arts teams from provinces, cities, and agencies nationwide, as well as international teams from the Republic of Korea, Thailand, and Laos.
Competitors vie for 62 sets of medals in both men's and women's categories.
The 6th edition of its kind provides a venue for Taekwondo practitioners nationwide to compete, interact, and learn from experience of international participants, thus improving their skills and promoting Taekwondo training movements in Vietnam./.
