The Hue Central Hospital held a training course from May 13-16 to transfer techniques used in colorectal endoscopy to six visiting Malaysian surgeons.
During the four-day course, the Malaysian doctors learnt basic theories and practices from the hospital’s leading experts on digestive endoscopy.
Previously, the hospital trained a group of doctors from the Philippines in the field.
The hospital’s Deputy Director, Pham Nhu Hiep, said that through these courses, the hospital has affirmed its reputation in the field of endoscopic surgery, especially in colorectal endoscopy.
The Hue Central Hospital is the first in Vietnam to have successfully applied this way of treating colorectal cancer and has become extremely skilled in this specialism.-VNA
