The Hue Central Hospital held a training course from May 13-16 totransfer techniques used in colorectal endoscopy to six visitingMalaysian surgeons.
During the four-day course, theMalaysian doctors learnt basic theories and practices from thehospital’s leading experts on digestive endoscopy.
Previously, the hospital trained a group of doctors from the Philippines in the field.
The hospital’s Deputy Director, Pham Nhu Hiep, said that through thesecourses, the hospital has affirmed its reputation in the field ofendoscopic surgery, especially in colorectal endoscopy.
The Hue Central Hospital is the first in Vietnam to have successfullyapplied this way of treating colorectal cancer and has become extremelyskilled in this specialism.-VNA
