Vietnamese visitors to the central province of Thua Thien-Hue will enjoy free tickets to local heritage sites on the National Day (September 2), said Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre Phan Thanh Hai.
In addition to folk and royal court music, which will be on stage at Truong Sanh and Tu Duc palaces, exhibitions are scheduled at the Hue Imperial Citadel (Dien Tho, Ta Vu and Duyet Thi Duong palaces) and Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities.
Besides documents on Vietnamese doctors under feudal dynasties, 34 poems portraying immense pride in national culture, peace and unity will be on display from September 2 to December 21.
According to the centre, Hue heritage sites attracted over 1.5 million visitors, including 671,127 foreigners, in the first eight months of this year. Around 141.2 billion VND (6.5 million USD) was generated from ticket sales, accounting for 83 percent of the yearly plan.-VNA
