Hue Traditional Craft Festival to run for a month

The Hue Traditional Craft Festival will be held for one month for the first time, from May 29 to June 26 in Hue city in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Hue Traditional Craft Festival will be held for onemonth for the first time, from May 29 to June 26 in Hue city in the centralprovince of Thua Thien-Hue.

More than 40 art performances will beorganised, gathering together a large number of artists, actors, and artisans.

The biennial festival is expected to dazzleparticipants with several new activities compared to previous editions.

It will feature a wide range of events, such asa craft design contest, the Hue Culinary Festival, a sculpting camp, an “ao dai”(Vietnam’s traditional dress) week, and a book exhibition.

The month-long festival will hold specialactivities on weekends to attract more visitors to the city.

The 2019 edition attracted around 400,000visitors./.

Vinh Phuc to host international women's volleyball tournament

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
