Local parishes have engaged Catholic followers in variousmovements, including those on environment protection, security safeguarding,traffic safety promotion, and social evil combat. The parishioners have alsoeffectively sustained various of social models, such as a self-governedneighbourhood without crimes, drugs and social evils and a religious familyliving in peace and harmony.
Numerous Catholic communities have become role models inbuilding civilised residential areas and maintaining political security andsocial order.

Catholics have also taken part in various charitable andfundraising activities to aid the poor, disadvantaged children, victims ofAgent Orange/Dioxin, people rendering services to the nation during wartime, andthose hit by COVID-19 and natural disasters./.
