Vietnamese Ambassador to IndiaNguyen Thanh Tan, who is the rotating president of ANDC, said ASEANwelcomes India’s Look East policy.
India isbecoming a powerful country, Tan said, adding that ASEAN supports theemerging role of India in maintaining peace and prosperity in theregion.
With a population of around 650 million andtotal income of 1,700 billion USD, ASEAN is an attractive destinationfor Indian investors, Tan noted.
