A memorandum of understanding was signed onthe occasion of a visit by Smita Pant, the Indian consul in Ho Chi MinhCity, to the Sai Gon Fabric and Garment Accessories Expo (Sai Gon Tex)which ended in the city on April 12.
Under the deal, Anh Khoa will import materials from SRTEPC members.
NgoNgoc Hoa, CEO of Anh Khoa, said that initially his company will buyfeedstock from India and the co-operation would later be expanded toother fields.
With Indian companies participating for the firsttime, Sai Gon Tex offered them an opportunity to look for partners inVietnam at a time when India plans to invest 300 million USD in theVietnamese garment and textile industry as committed by its Governmentduring Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung's visit last year.-VNA
