Indonesia: Jakarta suicide bombing suspects identified

Indonesian police on May 25 said that two suspected suicide bombers in an attack on a bus terminal in Jakarta one day earlier have been identified.

Hanoi (VNA) – Indonesian police on May 25 said that twosuspected suicide bombers in an attack on a bus terminal in Jakarta one dayearlier have been identified.  

The duo were on the wanted list, National Policespokesperson told media, adding that they were linked to a West Java-basedterrorist network which claimed responsibility for an attack in Bandung inFebruary. 

The police are searching for other members ofthe network, he noted.

The twin blasts occurring at the Trans Jakartabus stop in Kampung Melayu region in East Jakarta killed at least five people,including the two suspects and three policemen while injuring 10 others. -VNA
