Hanoi (VNA) – Indonesian President Joko Widodo has agreed to allocate 14.1 trillion rupiah (over 985 million USD) for four new schemes within the framework of the 2022 National Economic Recovery Programme.
The information was unveiled by Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto at a conference last week.
The new schemes cover a reduction of 3 percent in lending rates to residents in the first half of 2022, expansion and acceleration of cash support for vendors, and preferential added value taxes for housing and luxury sale tax incentives for automobiles.
The Indonesian Government plans to launch these schemes in the first quarter this year before the National Socio-economic Survey begins in April./.
