The move was announced at a workshop inthe northern port city of Hai Phong on July 27, citing expectationof raising public awareness about and involvement in administrativereforms, from policy making to supervision of the process.
A close co-operation between the Ministry of Home Affairs and pressagencies will help encourage and speed up the sharing of informationamong interested people, the workshop was told.
Participants pointed out a need to form a professional channel tocollect public feedback on problems emerging from implementingadministrative reforms.
Dinh Duy Hoa, Head of theAdministrative Reforms Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs,said the workshop outcome will serve as a foundation for the ministryand the UNDP to work out a concrete communication programme onadministrative reforms for the next decade./.
