The Ministry of Finance and the Intel-Vietnam Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the transfer and test-run of the American IT giant’s new technology in Hanoi on September 27.
The one-year deal will help the ministry increase efficiency in management and use of the information technology infrastructure as well as formalise bilateral strategic partnership.
In furtherance of the deal, the two parties will cooperate in making IT development plans, policies on hardware infrastructure, use of supporting tools to find out and correct weak points of applications in the Finance Ministry.
The Intel Vice President and General Manager of the Data Centre Group, Kirk Skaugen, said the deal has illustrated a huge leap in bilateral relations and Intel commitments to support IT development in Vietnam./.
