Around 2.45 million travellers visited the central province of Quang Binh since the beginning of 2019, including more than 133,000 foreigners, up 20% and 31% against the same period last year.
According to the provincial Department of Tourism, Quang Binh’s tourism sector has promoted its position on Vietnam’s tourist map, making it a more attractive destination among international visitors.
The province has invested well in tourism promotion activities and programmes, which have brought about effective results. Such activities and programmes have receiving much attention from international media, television, news agencies and holiday-makers.-VNA
