Dang The Tai, general director of CMC System Integration Saigon Ltd,said his company achieved revenue of 659 billion VND (30.9 million USD)last year compared to 543 billion VND (25.48 million USD) in 2013.
The figure is expected to reach 725 billion VND (34.02 million USD) this year, Tai said.
CMC Saigon is currently one of the two largest Vietnamese companiescapable of providing all IT and telecommunication services andsolutions, he said.
It accounts for 60 percent ofmarket share in the south in providing professional IT solutions andservices for customers in the fields of finance, banking and the stockmarket.
Le Minh Chau, pre-sales manager of Meganet,which specialises in network solution, equipments and infrastructure,said the company has set a target to achieve 10-15 billion VND (469,263USD- 703,894 USD) in revenue this year from nearly 4 billion VND lastyear.
After its success in providing wifi services touniversities in HCM City and Da Nang, the company is expanding itsservices to universities in the north to meet high demand for internetuse of students, he said.
Doan Son Hai, CEO of ROBOTechnology Corp, reported that the company assembled more than 9,600computers and more than 1,000 servers, an increase of 5 percent and 10percent over 2013, respectively.
Its revenue reached 155.3 billion VND (7.28 million UASD) last year, a year-on-year increase of 12 percent.
In its development strategy for the year, the company will expand itsdistribution system to all provinces and cities nationwide, as well asenhance cooperation with its partners to widen its products and servicesportfolio, he said.
Several IT companies in QuangTrung Software City, including Larion, Luxoft Vietnam and GlobalCybersoft Vietnam, reported good business results last year, with manyfirms having high recruitment demand.
Ngo Duc Chi,general director of Global Cybersoft company, for instance, said thecompany's revenue last year was worth 292 billion VND (13.7 billion USD)compared to 244 billion VND (11.45 million USD) in 2013.
It has set a target to achieve a revenue of 380 billion VND (17.8million USD) this year and increase its staff from 862 to over 1,100, hesaid.
