Japan helps build infirmary in Nam Dinh

The Japanese Government will provide over 100,000 USD in non-refundable aid for the construction of an infirmary in Yen Cuong commune, Y Yen district, the Red River delta province of Nam Dinh .

An agreement to this effect was singed in the capital city of Hanoi on Sept. 20.

The project will build a two-storey infirmary on a site of 630 sq.m toreplace the old facility, which was constructed 40 years ago.

The project is expected to significantly improve healthcare servicesfor 11,000 local people in Yen Cuong commune, said Japanese Ambassadorto Vietnam Tanizaki at the signing ceremony.

Theambassador expressed his hope that through the project, theJapan-Vietnam friendship and mutual understanding would be furtherdeepened./.
