Japan helps Vietnam ensure construction quality

The agreement to this effect was detailed in the minutes signed in Hanoi on March 26 between Deputy Construction Minister Bui Pham Khanh and Chief of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Motonori Tsuno.
JICA will provide experts and equipment and machinery necessary to undertake the training in Japan . Also, it will cover research and training course costs for trainees.

The training looks to improve the management methods of responsible agencies as well as the State’s oversight on construction projects to ensure their quality.

The Japanese side plans to provide technical assistance for the training for three years./.
