Japan’s ANA to launch Tokyo-Hanoi flight

Japan’s All Nippon Airways Co. (ANA) on December 9 announced that it will introduce direct flights to Hanoi and Vancouver from Japan for the first time, the Kyodo news agency reported.

The daily round-trip flights from Tokyo’s Haneda airport to thesedestinations will begin on March 30 next year, along with other dailyflights connecting Tokyo with London, Paris and Jakarta.

The airline is also making arrangements to start services linking Haneda airport with China and Germany.

The move follows the decision earlier this year by Japan ’stransport ministry to allocate 11 new slots at Haneda airport to ANA.-VNA

Government proposes 2-pp VAT reduction on select goods and services until 2026

A 2-percentage-point reduction in the value-added tax (VAT) for goods and services will lead to a decrease in state revenue by approximately 121.74 trillion VND (over 4.69 billion USD) over the proposed period.
