The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) will allocate 11.5 billion won (approximately 10 million USD) for construction of the Vietnam-RoK Technological College in the northern province of Bac Giang.
It will also send experts to the locality to provide technical consultancy for Vietnamese personnel during the implementation and management of the construction phase.
These items were agreed by KOICA Vice President Ahn Dong-won and President of the Bac Giang Province People’s Committee Bui Van Hai in Bac Giang on December 21.
Located on a land area of 9,100 sq. m, the college will provide training on occupations related to electricity, electronics, IT, and automobile repair and assembly skills, from 2013.
It is expected to generate skilled technicians for industrial zones in Bac Giang and localities nationwide./.
