The Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) have always stood side by side, demonstrating solidarity and mutual support, said Secretary of the LPRP Central Committee and Vice President of the Lao National Assembly Sounthone Xayachak in an interview granted to Vietnam News Agency in Vientiane.
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong has contributed to raising the position of the CPV which is recognised by major powers as the political party to lead the nation’s socialist-oriented development, according to a Lao official.
The Dien Bien Phu Victory serves as a foundation for Vietnam to achieve great accomplishments, helping expand the country’s diplomatic sector and improve its position, role, and influence in the regional and international arena, said Khamphanh Pheuyavong, Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and head of its Commission for Propaganda and Training.
