Laos Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh on March 25 received writers delegates who are in Vientiane to attend the third conference of writers in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
The PM urged the writers to undertake bilateral or trilateral cooperation programme in the coming time. He said he wished the writers would create more quality works to help the people of the three countries - especially young generations - understand more about the tradition of solidarity among the nations.
On behalf of the Vietnamese delegation, chairman of Vietnamese Writers’ Association, poet Huu Thinh promised that Vietnamese writers will try their best to promote the traditional friendship between Laos and Vietnam through translating more works of Lao literature into Vietnamese and help the Lao Writers’ Association build their headquarters./.
