Lao President Chummaly Saynhasone spoke highly of the fine Vietnam-Laos court cooperation while receiving Chief Judge of the Vietnamese Supreme People’s Court Truong Hoa Binh in Vientiane on December 26.
He expressed his wish that the two sides will boost their comprehensive collaboration, especially in training Lao court personnel.
Binh informed the host of the outcomes of the third court conference between border provinces of Vietnam , Laos and Cambodia held in Vientiane on December 25-26, saying that it affirmed the determination of the three courts to enhance transnational crime prevention and combat.
Regarding the future cooperation plans between the Vietnamese and Lao courts, he said that both sides will continue the exchange of delegations to share experience in judgment and organise professional training courses in Vietnam for Lao judges and court officials.
He affirmed that the Vietnamese Party, State, Government and people will always stand side by side with Laos to maintain and develop the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations.-VNA
