Vinaconex and CPG International Pte Ltd sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in developing projects (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex) signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in developing projects with CPG International Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Singapore-based CPG Group, on March 5.
This is the first time Vinaconex has joined hands with a foreign partner since it was equitised in 2008.
The two sides discussed win-win collaboration opportunities on the basis of promoting their strengths.
Vinaconex Chairman Dao Ngoc Thanh said his corporation is operating in diversified aspects, but its strongest field is construction. The partnership between the two sides will help the construction of the corporation’s large-scale projects.
Vincent Loh, Chief Executive Officer of CPG International, stated that the company is one of the leading firms in Asia-Pacific in construction and infrastructure development and management.
At present, the CPG has representative offices in more than 20 nations, including Vietnam. In the Southeast Asian nation, it has proved its capacity through its participation in such major projects as Noi Bai International Airport’s Terminal T2, Yen So Park in Hanoi, Golden Square Da Nang and Van Giang Ecopark urban area in Hung Yen province, and several projects of Vingroup.-VNA
