Vietnam’s leather and footwear sector posted an export value of 9.45 billion USD in the first half of the year, an 8.4 percent increase year-on-year. The value is expected to reach 19.5 billion USD by the year’s end. However, experts have said that the US-China trade war will pose both challenges and opportunities for the sector.
