New wharf at Lao - Viet Int’l Port inaugurated

State President Luong Cuong attends Vietnam - Laos friendship exchange programme

President Cuong emphasised that every victory in the past struggle for national liberation as well as in the current cause of building and defending the Fatherland of Vietnam has seen the valuable support, wholehearted, righteous and effective assistance of the Party, State and people of the Lao ethnic groups, and expressed the deep gratitude of the Vietnamese Party, State and people to their Lao counterparts.

Vietnamese State President holds talks with top Lao leader

Sisoulith warmly welcomed Cuong's first visit in his new role from April 24-25, saying that the visit reflects the importance that the Vietnamese Party, State, and President himself attach to the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation with Laos.

Vietnam, Laos push toward effective, sustainable trade relations

In the first quarter of 2025, Vietnam-Laos trade reached 980.1 million USD, a surge of 105.5% compared to the same period in 2024. Exports from Vietnam valued at 346.4 million USD, representing soaring 138.6%. Meanwhile, imports from Laos rose by 91.1% to 633.6 million USD.

Top Chinese leader begins state visit to Vietnam

This is Xi's fourth state visit to Vietnam as China's top leader, and the second within his current term. Vietnam, Burundi seek stronger friendship, cooperation
