Hawk training aircraft (Source: malaysiandefence.com) Kuala Lumpur, (VNA) – Malaysia’s air force said on June 15 that one of its Hawk training aircraft has gone missing.
The plane took off from a base in Kuantan at around 11 a.m. local time (or 10 a.m. Vietnam time) and lost contact 30 minutes later.
Search for the plane is under way.
The Hawk training aircraft, manufactured by the UK’s BAE Systems group, can be used as a combat jet.-VNA
