Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – Malaysian police held large-scale security drills in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur on July 9, preparing for the 29th SEA Games next month.
The exercise took place from 8am to 2pm on July 9 and 10, said the Malaysian police in a statement, training police officers to cope with possible threats during the event.

It comprised of various police elements, including the Special Action Unit, the 69 VAT Commando, a bomb disposal unit and the Air Wing Unit, among others.
The 29th SEA Games is scheduled for August 19-30 with 4,888 athletes from 10 ASEAN countries competing in 38 sports.-VNA
