Malaysia's new cabinet to focus on economic recovery: PM
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his hope that his new cabinet will strive to serve the country, focusing on economic recovery, education quality, cost of living, upgrade of infrastructure and medical facilities.

Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – Malaysian
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his hope that his new Cabinet will
strive to serve the country, focusing on economic recovery, education quality,
cost of living, upgrade of infrastructure and medical facilities.
The list of the 28-strong Cabinet was submitted
to the Malaysian King on December 2. They are scheduled to convene the first
meeting on December 5.
PM Anwar also appointed himself as Minister of
Finance.
Associate Prof. Dr. Aimi Zulhazmi Abdul Rashid from Kuala
Lumpur Business School said the immediate task of the Cabinet is to submit the
2023 budget estimate and an urgent agenda./.
