Maps of Vietnam showcased in Germany’s tourism fair

The maps of Vietnam are being displayed at the International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB) 2017 in Germany, which runs from March 8 – 12.

Berlin (VNA) – Themaps of Vietnam are being displayed at the International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB) 2017 in Germany,which runs from March 8 – 12.

Theshowcase of the maps aims to promote images and people of Vietnam tointernational friends, especially the country’s sovereignty on Hoang Sa (Paracel)and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.  

Coveringan area of 200sq.m, the Vietnam booth features the beauty of Vietnamese nature,culture and people.

It sees the presence of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, theVietnam Tourism Association, the Tourism Departments of Hanoi, Ho Chi MinhCity, and northern Ninh Binh province, and 32 travel companies.

Asthe most important event of the world’s tourism industry, ITB Berlin 2017attracts 10,000 tourism management agencies, businesses, hotels and resortsfrom 180 countries and territories. 

It serves as a venuefor international enterprises to share experience and look for partners as wellas provides visitors with varied tourism information.-VNA

Vietnam tourism promoted at Canadian travel, vacation show

Do Ha Thao, Secretary in charge of cultural affairs at the embassy, said that visitors show great interest in the Vietnamese booth, asking for information about tours and promotional programmes. Some of the visitors had previously been to Vietnam and wish to return.

Binh Thuan province remains tourist magnet

In the first three months, the province welcomed 2.6 million visitors, including 152,000 foreigners, up nearly 14% and 17% year-on-year, respectively. Tourism revenue surpassed 7 trillion VND, marking a year-on-year rise of 16%.

Vietnam in’l travel mart 2025 opens in Hanoi

This year’s event features over 450 booths from more than 600 organisations and businesses, including participants from 56 Vietnamese provinces and cities and 16 countries and territories. Green tourism remains a key focus, with exhibitors showcasing eco-friendly products and experiences.
