Mekong Connect 2019 to be held in Can Tho in November

Can Tho (VNA) – The Mekong Connect 2019, themed “Linking the valuechain of the delta, enhancing market integration,” will be held in CanTho city on November 7.

The Business Association of High Quality Vietnamese Products and leaders of four Mekong Delta localities namely An Giang, Ben Tre, Can Thoand Dong Thap (ABCD Mekong) jointly organized a press conference in Can Tho onOctober 30 to introduce the event.

According to Vu Kim Hanh, Chairwoman of the association, this year’s event willfeature four sessions of discussion, focusing on increasing value-added,promoting commercialisation of delta agricultural products, knowing markettrends and orientating for delta agricultural products, applying technology toconnect value chains, and linking Startups and developing native resources.

The organising board has set up a group comprising five working teams whodirectly exchange with each other every day to ensure smooth informationdelivery.

The Mekong Connect 2019, the fourth of its kind, is expected to lure 700 entrepreneurs,leaders from ministries, central agencies and Mekong Delta localities, representativesfrom domestic and foreign organisations and news agencies, as well as 30 renownedspeakers.

The third Mekong Connect 2017 was held on October 25-26 in Ben Tre province, focusingon seeking measures to make full use of advanced technology to optimise the value of local products./.

Three O’Clock brings Vietnamese coffee to India’s billion-people market

This milestone on November 8 came 11 months after the signing of an international franchise agreement between Three O’Clock (a brand under the Teatime limited company) and its exclusive master franchise partner for the Indian subcontinent FranGlobal. Vietjet reports strong growth in Q3, announces 20% stock dividend

In Q3, Vietjet's air transport revenue reached 16.728 trillion VND, with a pre-tax profit of 393 billion VND. Fitch Ratings affirms Northern Power Corporation at ‘BB+’ with stable outlook
