Hanoi (VNA) - Following a successful AFC Asian Cup 2019, midfielder Luong Xuan Truong of Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) has joined Buriram United Football Club of Thailand.
The transfer fee and Truong’s salary has not been revealed after the player signed a one year contract with Burirum.
HAGL announced the 23-year-old passed a medical and is ready to play for the Thai club.
Buriram United were Thai champions last season finishing 16 points ahead of runners-up Bangkok United. They will play in the AFC Champions League group stages this season against China’s Beijing Guoan, Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds and the Republic of Korea’s Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.

Meanwhile, striker Nguyen Cong Phuong of HAGL is reportedly close to signing a one-year loan deal with K League club Incheon United with the official announcement set to take place soon.
