Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son received the Vice Chairperson of the Cuban Journalists’ Association Barbara Virginia Doval Martinez in Hanoi on October 22.
Son appreciated the long-standing cooperation between the two countries’ journalists associations.
He said he hoped both sides would continue to share their professional experience and create conditions for their members to learn about each other’s land, people and culture, thus contributing to the consolidation of the two countries’ traditional friendship and the promotion of mutual understanding between the two peoples.
The Vietnamese Party and State continuously strive to facilitate the development of journalism in line with national development targets, he added.
