The Ministry of Finance reported that 576.9 trillion VND (nearly 27.5 billion USD) were channeled into the State budget in the first eight months of 2014, a year-on-year increase of 17.3 percent.
The figure represents 73.7 percent of the whole year’s estimate, the ministry said.
The eight-month amount includes 389.28 trillion VND (over 18.5 billion USD) in domestic revenues, up 21.3 percent from a year before.
Over the period, the state sector’s contribution to the State budget rose by 37.2 percent on a yearly basis, while that of the non-State industrial and commercial firms and foreign invested companies grew by 10.8 percent and 16.7 percent, respectively.-VNA
