Hanoi (VNA) – Phan Thi Thanh Tam, spouse of President Vo VanThuong, and Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj, spouse of Mongolian President UkhnaagiinKhurelsukh, visited Chu Van An Primary School in Hanoi on November 1.

They expressedtheir delight at visiting Chu Van An Primary School, with rich history and achievements, and congratulated the school on what it hascarved out in teaching and learning.

Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh said she is impressed by the school where students areable to develop themselves in a good learning environment.

She hoped that the students will try their best to become excellent citizenswho can make contributions to the development of Vietnam, while delivering thebest wishes to the teachers.  
 
The two first ladies visited the school’s library, smart classroom and artclassroom, and were presented two paintings that feature the images ofVietnamese and Mongolian students in their traditional costumes.

Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, his spouse and ahigh-ranking delegation of Mongolia arrived in Hanoi at noon on November 1,beginning their five-day State visit to Vietnam at the invitation of PresidentVo Van Thuong.

The trip takes place in the context that thetwo countries will celebrate the 70th founding anniversary of diplomaticrelations in 2024.

Over the past nearly seven decades, theVietnam-Mongolia friendship has been continuously strengthened and developedstrongly. Although the bilateral trade has remained modest, statistics showedthat it has made progress, increasing from 81 million USD in 2021 to 85 millionUSD last year, and the value stood at 65 million USD in the first seven monthsof this year.

The two countries have maintained mutual supportat international forums as well as the exchange of visits by their high-rankingleaders.

The Mongolian leader’s visit is expected tocontribute to promoting the friendship, solidarity and comprehensivecooperation between the two countries./.

K’Ho ethnic minority group in Lam Dong province looks forward to Election Day

Lac Duong commune is a remote locality largely inhabited by the K’Ho ethnic minority in Lam Dong. Hanoi customs seize suspected gold smuggled by four passengers at Noi Bai airport

The inspection revealed that passenger P.T.H. had concealed 10 pieces of the metal, weighing about 5 kg, inside her bra and underwear. Passenger V.T.M. hid five pieces totalking roughly 1.1 kg beneath underwear. Passenger N.V.L. concealed nine pieces amounting to around 3.5 kg, while passenger C.S.M.H. hid seven pieces weighing some 2.7 kg under underwear and on the wrist.
