More foreign visitors to arrive in central Quang Nam province

A Vietjet Air flight carrying 100 foreign tourists is expected to arrive at Da Nang International Airport in the central city of Da Nang at 11:05 pm on November 18.

Quang Nam (VNA) – A Vietjet Air flight carrying100 foreign tourists is expected to arrive at Da Nang International Airportin the central city of Da Nang at 11:05 pm on November 18.

The American, Canadian and Korean visitors, departing from theRepublic of Korea’s Incheon, will stay at New World Hoiana Hotel in Duy Xuyen district of central Quang Nam province, which also received 30 foreigners of these nationals on November 17, said Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thanh Hong.

The hotel is scheduled to host another group of about 200Americans, Canadians and Koreans, who will fly on a Bamboo Airways flight fromIncheon to the the Da Nang airport on November 25.

These are the first groups of foreign tourists to visit the centralprovince in two years after it has been selected as one of localities pilotingto welcome international visitors in the new normal.

Holiday-makers coming to Quang Nam are required to be fully giventwo shots of vaccines against COVID-19, and strictly follow COVID-19prevention regulations of the locality and the Ministry of Health.

The provincehas selected the Vinpearl Land South Hoi An, Hoi An Ancient City, and My SonWorld Cultural Heritage Site as its tourist destinations for the pilotreopening programme./.

Da Nang welcomes first flight from Vladivostok

According to the plan, the programme will run from April 16 to October 23, connecting eight cities across Russia, the CIS, and Belarus with Da Nang. The total number of visitors is expected to reach approximately 25,500, with a maximum frequency of 36 flights per month, equivalent to around 4,800 passengers monthly.
