The central province of Binh Thuan plans to step up measures to remove obstacles and stabilise production and business for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in 2014.
The locality will continue dialogues with the business circle to facilitate their access to Government assistance policies. It will also intensify domestic and foreign market forecasts to help enterprises draw up production and promotion strategies.
Additionally, Binh Thuan is set to simplify administrative procedures to provide optimum conditions for businesses to well maintain their operations and jobs for labourers.
At present, more than 4,050 businesses are operating in the province with a total registered capital of nearly 39 trillion VND (1.8 billion USD), rising by 34 percent from that of the 2010–2012 period.
They have created jobs for around 60,000 people and contributed 25.3 percent and 18 percent of the province’s gross domestic product and State budget respectively.-VNA
