The Ministry of Finance announced on June 22 as many as 93 state-owned enterprises will go public this year.
On the list are 22 enterprises under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, 18 member companies of economic groups, 15 businesses of state corporations and 38 firms of several cities and provinces.
The Ministry of Finance also revealed that until now, four ministries, nine economic groups, 10 corporations and 57 localities have submitted their plan to re-organise and equitise their enterprises between 2011 and 2015.
There will be 899 enterprises to undergo restructure by 2015, among which 367 firms will go public and other 532 will be announced sold, bankrupted, dissolved or will be changed to limited liability companies with one or two members.-VNA
