- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 21 issued a directive requesting the improvement of occupational hygiene and safety, given the recent occurrence of consecutive serious accidents.

The directive said these dreadful accidents have resulted in fatalities and injuries, affecting production, socio-economic development and causing psychological instability among workers.Read full story

– Many foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulations to Tran Thanh Man over his election as Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly at the 15th legislature's 7th sitting.

– As of May 2024, the southern province of Binh Duong has attracted nearly 4,300 projects with a total investment capital of nearly 40.6 billion USD from 65 countries and territories, ranking third in the country after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

As of 5pm on May 21, four were killed by lightning, comprising two in central Thanh Hoa province, one in northern Thai Binh province, and another in the Mekong Delta province of Long An.Read full story
