Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark is located in the northeastern province of Ha Giang. Its landscape is spectacular and unique with high mountains and deep canyons.
Ethnic people on the Dong Van Karst Plateau in Ha Giang province have developed apiculture from mint flowers. Honey is now a typical farm produce of the province and has contributed to local poverty reduction efforts.
The Buckwheat Flower Festival has returned for an eighth time in Dong Van district in the northernmost province of Ha Giang, and has become a magnet for tourists from far and wide.
