The seizure was madeby the Mandalay's anti-narcotic taskforce in Patheingyi township on September15.
Acting on tip-offs,members of the taskforce intercepted a vehicle carrying the controlledchemicals worth 527.5 million kyats (351,667 USD).
The seized chemicalsincluded 3,750 litres of Acetone worth 112.5 million kyats (75,000 USD), 3,000litres of Ethyl worth 375 million kyats (250,000 USD) and 1,000 kg of potassiumpowder worth 40 million kyats (26,667 USD).
The driver was chargedunder Myanmar’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
