Hanoi (VNA) – The 14th National Assembly continued its 17th working day in Hanoi onNovember 14 as part of the ongoing fourth session. 

In the morning, Finance Minister DinhTien Dung presented a draft Resolution on piloting special mechanisms andpolicies to serve Ho Chi Minh City’s development.

Chairman of the NA Finance-BudgetCommittee Nguyen Duc Hai delivered a report examining the draft Resolution.

Lawmakers later discussed ingroups the revised Law on National Defence and the above-mentioned draftResolution.

In the afternoon, Hai presented areport on acquiring public feedback on the draft Resolution on State budgetallocation in 2018.

NA Deputy Secretary General Le BoLinh delivered a draft Resolution on State budget allocation in 2018 with 4articles and 8 appendixes, which was ratified at the event.

The legislators debated a schemeon building several highways on north-south route to the east for 2017-2020.

Transport Minister Nguyen Van Thealso clarified several relevant issues.

As scheduled on November 15, the legislature is due toadopt the revised Law on Forest Protection and Development, discuss the amendedLaw on Competition and the draft Law on amendments and supplements to severalarticles of the Law on Physical Training and Sports.-VNA
